$2.7 Million verdict for child whose mother was killed when a tractor trailer crossed the median and hit them head on.

In this case a tanker truck crossed the median and hit my clients' van head on. The mom was driving and her mother was the front seat passenger. Both were killed. Also in the van was an infant who was killed. Three generations killed by a careless truck driver. A true tragedy. Two teenage passengers suffered non fatal injuries. The total jury verdict was 8.7 million. The two minor children, for their loss of companionship, aid and assistance, services, society and love (CASSL — the castle of life) each were awarded $2.7 million.
