Northern Kentucky Workers' Compensation Lawyers
Every week, our law office receives phone calls from Kentucky residents who have suffered a work injury and are having difficult time because they don’t know what their rights are. If you find yourself in that situation, Attorney Greg Kriege can help. He will talk to you about your particular situation and tell you what rights are afforded you under Kentucky law.
How Our Attorneys Will Help with Your Workers' Comp Case
First, we will learn about you and your injury. We'll ask what the injury is and how and where it happened. Your age and hourly wage or salary also are relevant to your case.
Next, we submit all the necessary claim forms and information to your treating doctor and your employer's insurance company. We also review your wage records to ensure you’re getting exactly what’s owed to you in your temporary disability payment. An important part of our role is deterring your insurance company and your caseworker from harassing you.
If your doctor determines that you will not be able to resume working, we will look into requesting a hearing and settlement options. If your injury results in you being permanently disabled, we will also help you file for Kentucky Social Security Disability (SSD or SSDI) and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits. We will also submit a claim for either Kentucky Temporary Partial Disability (TPD) or Kentucky Temporary Total Disability (TTD).
Our goal is to help you receive all the Kentucky benefits you are eligible for — whether your injury was minor or serious. If your employer refuses to acknowledge that your injury occurred on the clock, we will pursue the case by obtaining medical records, as well as statements from co-workers, and represent you in a Kentucky court.
